Farm Life
This is a composite using one of my photos of a farmer's co-op silos with some distressed texture and a close-up of wheat in the field. The frame is hand made from hickory with a walnut inlay and an embedded manila rope.
12" x 18" digital art created from a photograph and framed in red cedar from a tree that used to stand just to the left of the workshop. This one is gone but I can make you another one.
Fernvale Church
GONE 8" x 12" print made from a photograph and given a watercolor look. The frame is made of poplar from here on our property and hand carved with crosses on the top.
12" x 18" digital art created from a photograph and framed in stained oak. This one is gone but I can make you another one.
Strength
This is a composite using one of my photos of the back of a log skidder with a saw blade and some distressed textures. The frame is made from local cedar and hand carved with some chain links.
Precision
I made this digital art from a photo of a metal working mill composited with a motorcycle sprocket and some texture layers. The frame is made of local cedar and hand carved.
Sycamore Creek
This is a 12" x 18" print of an image I made from one of my photographs. I added the locomotive and gave it a charcoal/line drawing on old canvas look. The frame is made of cherry and walnut and is 22" x 28" overall.
8" x 10" digital portrait created from a photograph and framed in red cedar. This one is gone.
8" x 8" digital portrait of my dad created from an old photograph and framed in natural poplar from a deadfall in the woods. This was a Christmas gift.
Remembering
I took a photo of my wife taking a photo of her father's headstone at the Middle Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery on Veteran's Day last year. I liked the photo, but I like it even better when converted to a "line drawing" in photoshop. I made the frame from stained cypress and it now hangs in our house next to a photo of her dad from WWII.
